Are you looking to start a career in engineering with a well-established company offering full training in the engineering sector, genuine progression to management and excellent benefits?

This established business has been operating for around 30 years and is continuing to secure more projects, creating an opportunity for an Installation Assistant to join the team.

You'll be working across the South West alongside a fully qualified installer on new-build construction sites, learning how to install and test a range of kitchen appliances including dishwashers, washing machines, fridge freezers and cooker hoods.

Full training is provided, with a clear progression route towards becoming a qualified installer, dual-fuel installer and eventually into Supervisory or Management positions. There is also different routes into gas and electrician roles if that is what you prefer.

The ideal candidate will have a good attitude, be practical and hands-on, and be keen to learn a skilled trade. Previous electrical, engineering or construction/site experience would be beneficial, but full training will be provided.

The Role

Supporting a fully qualified installer on new-build construction sites

Installing and testing kitchen appliances including dishwashers, washing machines, fridge freezers and cooker hoods

Working across approximately 2-4 sites per day throughout the South West region

Completing site inductions and following health & safety procedures

Opportunity to progress into qualified installation, gas and electrics, dual-fuel, Supervisory and Management positions

The Person

Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 3 points

Good attitude and genuine willingness to learn

Previous electrical, engineering, construction or site experience beneficial

CSCS card beneficial, but not essential

Keen to build a long-term career and progress within the business
