We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable car dealership in Epsom, seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join their dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated automotive professional to lead workshop operations within a well-established dealership group committed to excellence and customer satisfaction.   • Oversee daily workshop operations to ensure productivity and efficiency
  • Allocate jobs to technicians and monitor workflow to meet service deadlines
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the workshop team
  • Liaise closely with service advisors to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Manage workshop KPIs, including productivity, profitability, and quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies
  • Support the development of team members through coaching and performance management

Requirements of the Workshop Controller:

  • Proven experience as a Workshop Controller or similar role within a car dealership environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of workshop processes and automotive systems (preferably Kerridge/Drive)
  • Ability to organise workload effectively and prioritise tasks
  • Good communication skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
