As the market face of a specialist business unit for a major global insurance broker, you'll manage and control all aspects of the insurer panel and associated relationships - are you ready to take a significant step forward in your career?

Reporting to the sector Managing Director, this key role has real autonomy to drive the proposition for the team and its clients, whilst contributing to the central UK broking strategy.

The role offers a generous salary of up to £75,000, complemented by a 20% bonus and a robust benefits package.

As Insurer Relations Manager, you will lead and implement an RFP process to ensure the panel provides a best-in-class proposition - you'll then be at the forefront of managing relationships with key insurer partners.

Your expertise will be essential to maintaining the firm's competitive edge in the market.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include a high degree of market interaction, where your negotiation skills will shine as you engage with insurers on schemes, products and manually transacted business.

Your ability to foster and maintain strong professional relationships will be key to your success in this role.

As the role grows, its expected you'll recruit a team of Broking Executives to support your market endeavours.

This role is based in the West Midlands or South West, offering a balance of regional presence and connectivity to the wider industry.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the insurance sector, with a particular focus on placement and broking strategies.

You should possess excellent communication, relationship management and negotiation skills, and be adept at managing complex insurer relationships.

A strategic thinker, you will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a dynamic team.

Experience in conducting RFPs and market reviews.

The ability to contribute to strategic broking initiatives.

Comfortable in a regional role, with travel to Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff and London required.
