Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical bias) to join one of our Manufacturing clients in Leeds.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical Bias) – Manufacturing

Leeds | £40,000 - £45,000

Shift: Monday to Friday 6am-3pm.

Responsibilities:

Carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across production machinery and site equipment.

Respond quickly to breakdowns , diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical and control-system faults to minimise downtime.

Fault-find on motors, drives, sensors, control panels, basic PLC systems, pneumatics and hydraulics .

Complete mechanical maintenance including bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, shafts and other mechanical components .

Carry out electrical installation, testing, repair and modification work within level of competence and authorisation.

Support the installation, commissioning, relocation and improvement of plant and machinery.

Identify recurring faults and contribute to continuous improvement and root-cause solutions to reduce downtime.

Work closely with production teams , prioritising maintenance activities, communicating breakdowns and supporting the safe and efficient running of the manufacturing site.

What We’re Looking For:

NVQ/ONC Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering

Strong hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial, production or similarly demanding environment.

Able to read electrical drawings and fault-find on industrial machinery

High level of fault-finding knowledge

Commutable from:

Leeds, Bradford, Pudsey, Shipley, Otley, Wakefield.
