Financial ControllerExeter, Devon£75,000 - £80,000 per annumOur client, a successful and growing business, is entering an exciting period of expansion and is now looking to appoint an experienced Financial Controller to play a key role in supporting their continued growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the finance team on a full-time, permanent basis and make a genuine impact within a commercially focused organisation.As the Financial Controller, you’ll lead the finance function, combining strong financial leadership with commercial insight to support key business decisions. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll oversee management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and financial controls, while driving continuous improvement across the function.The responsibilities:Lead and develop the finance team, supporting performance and succession planningOversee monthly management accounts and financial reportingLead the annual budgeting and forecasting processProvide commercial analysis to support pricing, costs and profitabilityMonitor cash flow, working capital, stock and capital expenditureMaintain strong financial controls, reconciliations and supplier processesCoordinate statutory reporting, VAT, payroll-related submissions and audit requirementsIdentify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and overall financial performanceThe candidate:ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountantPrevious Finance Manager or Financial Controller experienceStrong experience across management and statutory accounts, audit and financial reportingExcellent Excel and accounting systems skills; strong ERP experience advantageousCommercially minded, confident leading a team and influencing stakeholders across the businessRef: 15363
