Looking for a stable role with a great local employer?

We're recruiting for a Machine Operative to join a well-established, family-run engineering business in Evesham. Working a fixed late shift, Monday to Friday, you'll become part of a close-knit team where quality, craftsmanship and employee wellbeing are genuinely valued.

No jumping straight onto late shifts either - you'll complete your training on days, giving you the time and support to learn the machines, processes and products before moving onto your permanent shift.

BENEFITS

* Free on-site parking

* 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)

* Optional overtime available

* Christmas shutdown

* Monday to Friday working on a fixed shift pattern

* Overtime available

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Machine Operative, you will:

* Set up and operate a variety of engineering machines within a busy manufacturing environment.

* Read gauges and use a range of hand tools to produce high-quality components.

* Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet specification.

* Follow production processes and maintain excellent attention to detail.

* Work safely and help maintain high health and safety standards across the workshop.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

To be considered for the Machine Operative role, you'll need:

* Previous manufacturing or engineering experience, ideally working with metal products.

* Experience using a range of hand tools.

* Good basic maths skills, including converting and working with measurements.

* A good standard of written and spoken English.

* Your own transport, due to the location.
