This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative and well-established automotive manufacturing business in Tamworth, who due to continued success are looking to appoint an experienced Quality Engineer.Our client is a leader in their field and has been delivering high-quality products to customers worldwide for over 35 years. They manufacture and fit specialist vehicle modifications, providing innovative solutions to a range of sectors including fire services, power networks, telecoms providers and vehicle recovery teams.As Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring products consistently meet the required quality standards. You will work closely with departments across the business to monitor and develop the Quality Management System, implement inspection and testing methods and drive continuous improvements throughout the production process.What we need from you as a Quality Engineer:Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline35 years' experience working within a relevant Quality Engineering roleGood knowledge and understanding of quality standards and processesExperience of working with ISO accreditation and quality management systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutionsGood communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across different departmentsConfident training and supporting employees in quality assessment and production practicesProficient in Microsoft OfficeExperience using CAD software and Sage applicationsWhat the role involves:Working closely with sales, supply chain, design, production and after sales departmentsMonitoring and maintaining the Quality Management SystemEnsuring adherence to relevant international and national quality standardsImplementing methods and procedures for inspecting and testing productsIdentifying and implementing improvements to increase product quality throughout each stage of productionCarrying out and improving final inspection processesEnsuring compliance with ISO accreditation requirementsMaintaining Conformity of Production (CoP)Investigating quality issues and implementing appropriate corrective actionsProviding employees with the training, tools and techniques required to achieve quality standardsTraining and managing staff in quality assessment and production practicesWorking with the wider team to promote continuous improvement and consistently high-quality standardsSalary: £35,000 - £45,000 per year, depending on experience.Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm Fridays 8am to 1pm.Benefits:24 days' holiday plus Bank HolidaysCompany pensionLife assurance after one years serviceOn-site parkingOpportunity to progressSupportive working environmentPlease apply now!JBRP1_UKTJ
