Role: Java Developer (Neo4j experience must)
Location: Sheffield (Hybrid: approx. 2 days per week in the office)
Terms: Long-Term Contract
Visa: Only UK Citizen/ILR
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a team working on an exciting application modernisation and re-platforming project within a large enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Java 11+ backend applications, APIs and microservices.
Design and build RESTful APIs and scalable services.
Work with Neo4j and PostgreSQL databases.
Develop automated tests using JUnit, Mockito and Cucumber.
Work within an Agile CI/CD environment, contributing to peer reviews and automated testing.
Key Skills & Experience
Strong commercial experience with Java 11+.
Experience building microservices and REST APIs.
Knowledge of Neo4j or other graph databases is desirable.
Experience upgrading dependencies and addressing security vulnerabilities/dependency conflicts.
