Project Coordinator / Project Support Officer – Housing Repairs

We are looking for an experienced Project Coordinator / Project Support Officer to provide coordination and project support across a Housing Repairs programme.

The role will be responsible for supporting effective governance, reporting, planning and administration across the programme, ensuring project controls remain accurate and stakeholders have clear visibility of progress, risks, actions and dependencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities, meetings, workshops and key milestones, ensuring actions are captured, assigned and followed through to completion.
• Support the production of regular project and programme reporting, including status updates, highlight reports and governance packs.
• Maintain RAID logs, action logs and decision logs, ensuring information is kept up to date and appropriate items are escalated.
• Maintain project plans, milestone trackers and delivery schedules, working closely with project leads to monitor progress against agreed timescales.
• Proactively follow up outstanding and overdue actions with project and workstream leads.
• Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, preparation of materials, minute taking and tracking resulting actions.
• Maintain project documentation, ensuring information is appropriately structured, version-controlled and easily accessible.
• Act as a central coordination point between project leads, workstream owners and wider stakeholders, supporting effective communication and information flow.
• Provide accurate and timely project information to support governance and informed decision-making.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience working as a Project Coordinator, Project Support Officer (PSO) or similar project support role.
• Experience working within the housing sector, ideally within a social housing, local authority or housing association environment.
• Previous exposure to Repairs and Maintenance programmes or services is highly desirable.
• Strong experience maintaining RAID logs, action logs, decision logs and project documentation.
• Experience supporting project governance and producing regular reporting and governance packs.
• Confident maintaining project plans, milestone trackers and delivery schedules.
• Strong organisation and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple actions and deadlines.
• Able to proactively engage with stakeholders to chase actions, obtain updates and escalated issues where required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.

Key Deliverables

• RAID, action and decision logs maintained and kept up to date.
• Project plans and milestone trackers accurately reflecting delivery status.
• Actions proactively followed up, with overdue items appropriately escalated.

Role Details

• Rate: £250 DOE
• Location: Hybrid once per week in London
• IR35: TBC
