Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support our teachers in delivering high-quality education to our students. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting with classroom activities, providing one-to-one support, and contributing to the overall positive learning environment for our pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
Provide one-to-one support and small group interventions to students who require additional assistance, helping them to overcome learning barriers and achieve their academic goals.
Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and encourages active participation.
Assist with the preparation and organisation of classroom materials, resources, and displays to enhance the learning experience.
Collaborate effectively with teachers and other staff members to meet the individual needs of students and support their holistic development.
Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge as a teaching assistant.
Requirements:
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably within a primary school environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents/carers.
Compassionate and patient approach to supporting students, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in their lives.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Dedication to upholding high standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all aspects of your work.
