Ideal for a recent Graduate looking to develop a career in schools or experienced Teaching Assistant

A Teaching Assistant is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South London.

This will be a full time long term Teaching Assistant position with scope to go permanent.

Working days and hours for this Teaching Assistant post will be Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.

Responsibilities for this Teaching Assistant role will include but not be limited to:

Supporting SEN and LAP students in group or whole class intervention sessions

Working with the teachers to ensure each student's learning needs are identified

Attending to students' social, emotional and personal needs when required

Supporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policy

Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed

The rates of pay for this Teaching Assistant position will be between £85.50 to £124.87 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

Requirements

Applications are welcome if you're a recent Graduate or experienced Teaching Assistant.

You're also welcome to apply if you're a British trained Teaching Assistant or overseas trained Teaching Assistant.
