Shift Engineer

You’ll be the go-to problem solver during your shift, ensuring that every system—from air con to ambience is working like a dream. Whether it’s a quick fix or a planned check, you’ll handle it with precision, professionalism, and a smile.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carry out routine maintenance and respond to reactive issues across the hotel.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Log and report issues, ensuring smooth handovers between shifts.
• Support the wider engineering team with projects and upgrades.
• Be a visible, helpful presence for guests and colleagues alike.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a hotel or high-end property.
• Strong technical knowledge across building systems.
• A proactive, can-do attitude and a calm approach under pressure.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
