Additional Learning Support Admin Lead

Location: Bedford

Hours: 37 Hours per Week

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Temporary Agency Assignment

End Date: TBC

Reed Further Education is seeking an experienced Additional Learning Support Admin Lead to join a busy and supportive Further Education environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised administration professional with experience in Additional Learning Support funding, SEND processes, compliance, and data analysis. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate funding administration, maintaining compliance standards, and supporting learners through effective management of ALS systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate Additional Learning Support administration activities.

Manage ALS funding processes, claims, and compliance requirements.

Ensure compliance with relevant funding regulations and internal procedures.

Produce accurate reports and management information to a professional standard.

Analyse complex data and present findings clearly to stakeholders.

Maintain accurate learner records and support SEND-related administrative processes.

Monitor key deadlines and ensure timely submission of funding and compliance documentation.

Support continuous improvement within the ALS function.

Essential Requirements

Significant experience in Additional Learning Support funding administration and compliance.

Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice (2014) and associated funding regulations.

Ability to produce professional reports and management information.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data.

Proven ability to manage large volumes of data accurately and work effectively under pressure.

GCSE English and Maths (Grade A-C/Level 2 equivalent).

Professionally qualified to Level 3.

Level 5 qualification in Business Administration (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards achieving it.
