What will be your role?
Typical Tasks include:
Business Management
Responsibility for the day-to-day management of your team within the UK business,
Ensuring that the UK business is compliant with both local law and internal procedures,
Responsibility for the P&L of your business unit,
Working closely with counterparts in other countries to leverage sales and recruitment opportunities.
Business Development
Sales activity and client prospection,
Responding to calls for tender,
Negotiating commercial terms and conditions.
Recruitment
Overall responsibility for the recruitment of new starters with the help of a dedicated recruiters and the recruitment teams of the wider group,
Providing relocation assistance to new international arrivals from within the group.
What will this experience bring you?
Working closely with the VP Europe and with the full support of the group’s back-office functions, you will have overall responsibility (including P&L) for the development and management of your Business Unit for the UK business. From day-to-day management of the existing small team of consultants to taking sole responsibility for the sales activity in the UK, with the goal of expanding and overseeing the entire country. It is a significant undertaking and varied role.
Our parent company is firmly committed to its expansion internationally and a dedicated team of technical and commercial experts is on hand to provide you with unrivalled support with the development of the business.
In addition, during the transitional phase, there will be a dedicated period for a smooth handover from the outgoing manager, ensuring a seamless transfer of responsibilities.
What we are searching for in you:
Your profile:
Essential
Dynamic, self-starter with the ability to work on your own initiative,
Motivation for acquiring and developing new business,
English fluent, French is a plus.
Desirable
Previous management experience (around 5 years),
Experience of working with international teams.
Your qualities:
You have strong communication and interpersonal skills,
You are client minded and goal-oriented focus and you have a problem-solving attitude,
You are flexible and motivated team player.
