We are currently looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the Tonbridge area .

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced LSA, Teaching Assistant or someone looking to build a career in education. You will play an important role in supporting students both academically and pastorally, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.

The Role

Supporting students in the classroom across a range of subjects

Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required

Helping students remain focused and engaged with their learning

Supporting students with additional learning needs

Working closely with teachers and the wider support team

Encouraging positive behaviour and developing students' confidence and independence

Helping to create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable

Experience supporting students with SEND would be an advantage

Patient, approachable and confident in building positive relationships

Able to work effectively as part of a wider school team

Reliable, professional and adaptable

Passionate about supporting young people and helping them succeed

Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, Cover Supervisors and graduates with relevant experience are all encouraged to apply.
