People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Trainee Machine Operator to work at our client's site in Erdington .

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within a busy production environment. Previous experience operating machinery is not essential. Our client is looking for individuals with the right attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to learn quickly.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative or Warehouse Operative.

Rates of Pay:

£12.71 per hour

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday

Weekly rotating shifts:

Week 1: 6:00am to 2:30pm

Week 2: 2:00pm to 10:30pm

Fixed shifts may also be considered, subject to business requirements

Your duties as a Trainee Machine Operator are:

Sorting products

Loading machines

Learning and understanding the production process

Supporting experienced machine operators

Operating machinery following training

Assisting with machine set-up and operation

Ensuring goods are processed correctly and efficiently

Overseeing and supporting team members once fully trained
