Support Worker – NEWBURY (RG14) (Agency / Ad Hoc Shifts)- WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP

Location: Newbury (RG14)

Pay Rate: £12.71 – £13.82 per hour

Job Type: Agency / Temporary

Hours: Flexible Ad Hoc Shifts (Days, Nights, Weekends & Bank Holidays Available)

About the Role

AA Euro Healthcare is currently recruiting Support Workers to provide high-quality care and support for a well-established social care provider in Bedfordshire. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex support needs to live fulfilling, independent lives within their communities.

Key Responsibilities

Providing person-centred support tailored to individual needs.

Assisting with daily living activities including personal care where required.

Supporting individuals to access community activities, appointments, and social opportunities.

Promoting independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion.

Administering or assisting with medication in accordance with policies and procedures.

Maintaining accurate records and reporting any safeguarding concerns.

Building positive relationships with service users, families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.

Supporting individuals to achieve their personal goals and outcomes.

Requirements

Previous experience working in a support worker is essential

NVQ Level 2/3 desireable

A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable adults.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Flexible approach to working various shift patterns.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service 

Right to work in the UK.
