Offering a salary up to £55,000 + an extensive benefits package, this is a unique opportunity for an ambitious, qualified accountant to move into a strategic finance role.
The successful candidate will have a knack for developing relationships across a large finance team with varying disciplines. You'll be technically confident and an Excel whizz, with the ability to create financial models and add valuable insight for shareholders. You'll be encouraged to drive change, with the support of the wider team to encourage continuous improvement across the business. Key Responsibilities:
Co-ordinate Financial Planning processes by setting accurate and deliverable timetables, communicating transparent assumptions, reviewing and setting key performance metrics.
Responsible for overseeing the Financial Plan and Forecast upload processes into the system, including central assumptions, checking uploads agree to control totals and providing regular updates
Responsible for the creation, development and management of complex and robust financial models and excel spreadsheets. Provide in depth analysis, enabling senior business stakeholders to make well-informed tactical & strategic decisions.
Develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders and work effectively with them in supporting the financial modelling of forecasts, budgets and strategic/ad-hoc business cases
Support the delivery of change across Finance and the business, embracing new ways of working and maximising the full potential of our new systems tools and functionality to drive process improvements and long-term business planning capability
Ensuring that the controls associated with the team's processes are reviewed, updated, challenged and adhered to by the team with documentation kept in the appropriate form
