Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 pro-rataLocation: B3, Birmingham - Hybrid Job Type: Part-time ( 25 hours per week , flexible)
Day to day of the role:
Prepare and analyse management accounts , providing insights to senior management
Oversee month-end and year-end account preparation, ensuring financial reporting accuracy
Conduct VAT return preparation and ensure compliance with financial regulations
Accurately input supplier and consultant invoices
Manage full sales ledger processing for complex consultancy services
Perform credit control activities to maintain healthy cash flow
Work closely with senior management to inform financial decisions and strategies
Required Skills:
Proficiency with the Xero accounting package is essential
Solid experience in full accounting cycle management, including management accounts preparation
Familiarity with VAT returns and sales/purchase ledger processing
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial data handling
Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
