Logistics Operative Woking (Contract) Pay: £16.00ph PAYE Contract: 6 Months Location: Woking, Surrey Shifts: 05:3014:15 / 14:4523:30 (rotating weekly)

About the Role

Were recruiting Logistics Operatives to support a world-renowned automotive manufacturer in Woking. Youll play a key role in ensuring materials are delivered accurately and on time to support the production of high-performance sports cars. This is a fast-paced role requiring strong attention to detail, excellent organisation and a commitment to maintaining world-class stock accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Health & Safety compliance and incident reporting
• Safe loading/unloading of trailers using MHE
• Accurate receipt, inspection and documentation of incoming goods
• Use of handheld scanners and SAP for real-time inventory transactions
• Stock put-away, consolidation and careful handling of parts
• Picking and supplying parts to production lines aligned to KPIs
• Maintaining logistics records and documentation
• Upholding 5S standards and clean as you go practices
• Conducting cycle counts, stock takes and investigating discrepancies
• Supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Ensuring efficient stock management and proactive monitoring
• Liaising with Production, Quality and Stores
• Managing traceability of parts, including RTV items
• Responding quickly to lineside shortages and operational queries

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of inventory and logistics processes
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing; automotive preferred
• Skilled in MRP, warehouse systems and SAP
• Certified and experienced in operating MHE
• Confident conducting cycle counts and resolving stock discrepancies
• Able to meet KPIs and support continuous improvement
