Time Critical Coordinator, 4 on 4 off nights 7pm – 7am

Role Overview

Responsible for coordinating time-critical and express logistics movements, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient operational delivery, and profitable account management. Managing import and export shipments from booking through to completion, including customs clearance, KPI monitoring, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day operations for express and time-critical logistics clients, ensuring service levels are met and exceeded.

Manage customer orders from receipt through to completion, including job creation, documentation, warehouse coordination, and shipment tracking.

Process import and export customs clearances using CDS and ASM systems.

Monitor and resolve operational issues, service failures, and customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Manage customer KPIs and maintain regular communication with regional depots to ensure performance expectations are achieved.

Handle import and export shipments from start to finish, ensuring compliance with customs and operational procedures.

Support business development activities by identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts, following up quotations, and conducting proactive customer engagement.

Research customer operations, products, and market developments to identify opportunities for service enhancement and business growth.

Contribute to operational improvement initiatives and cost-saving measures to increase efficiency and profitability.

Maintain accurate records and provide analysis of operational performance, service trends, and customer feedback.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, transport providers, co-loaders, hauliers, customs authorities, and internal departments.

Liaise closely with operations, sales, accounts, and management teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Support internal customs audits, compliance reviews, and performance assessments.

Take responsibility for invoicing, profitability monitoring, and account performance reporting.
