We are searching for a highly skilled Assistant Manager to become an integral part of wonderful team. The ideal Assistant Manager will embody the qualities that define the pub, such as exceptional hospitality and a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Assistant Manager Ideal profile:
Passionate about delivering top-tier customer service and offering high-quality products, including Championship-winning ales
Adept at building sales, maximizing profitability, and effectively managing and developing a growing team
Ability to exceed expectations in order to attract and retain customers
Capable of overseeing the site in the General Manager's absence
Assistant Manager Responsibilities:
Take charge of daily operations, adhering to company policies and procedures, including operating standards, licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other legal requirements when the General Manager is absent
Set an example by providing exceptional customer service, addressing challenging customer situations professionally, and maintaining a positive attitude among staff
Work across all site areas (bar, floor, cellar, kitchen, and office) to maintain best practices, identify areas for improvement, and share knowledge with the team
Carry out office administration tasks as directed by the General Manager, ensuring compliance with company standards
Collaborate with the marketing team to stay updated on current marketing plans, promotions, and offers, and drive footfall through social media engagement
Assist in achieving financial targets, managing stock processes, and training and developing staff to deliver outstanding customer service
