Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in Wellingborough? Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is passionate about helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils engage with their learning and reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis .

Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning.

Providing additional support to pupils who may have SEN or additional learning needs .

Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Supporting pupils with their confidence, engagement and independence.

Encouraging positive behaviour and following school behaviour policies.

Building strong and positive relationships with pupils.

Working collaboratively with teachers and other members of staff.

Supporting pupils both academically and pastorally where required.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is:

Passionate about supporting children and young people.

Patient, caring and approachable.

Confident working with pupils with a range of abilities and needs.

A strong communicator and team player.

Reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic.

Able to build positive relationships with pupils.

Previous experience working in a school or with children is desirable, but not essential .
