SECONDARY Working alongside teachers and specialist staff to support pupils academically, socially and emotionally. POST-16 Helping older students develop independence, life skills, employability and preparation for their next steps. We are particularly interested in TAs who have: ?? Experience working with children or young people with SEND ?? Experience supporting pupils with Autism / ASD ?? Experience with ADHD, SEMH or associated behavioural needs ?? A calm, patient and consistent approach ?? The ability to build trusting relationships ?? A genuine interest in helping young people become more independent ?? The resilience and positivity required to work in a specialist setting Experience within a specialist school is highly desirable, but we are also keen to hear from strong mainstream TAs who have relevant SEND experience. ??
