Teaching Assistant

Location: Westminster
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £100 - £120 per day

Are you passionate about supporting young people with challenging behaviour and helping them overcome barriers to learning?

A supportive and inclusive school in Westminster is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is confident, patient, and resilient, with a genuine commitment to helping pupils develop positive behaviours and achieve their potential.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who may experience behavioural, emotional, social, or additional learning needs.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with behavioural needs
Build positive and trusting relationships with students
Support pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and other additional needs
Help implement individual behaviour and learning strategies
Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Work alongside teachers and SEN staff to support pupil progress
Help create a calm, structured, and nurturing learning environmentThe school is seeking a Teaching Assistant who can remain calm under pressure and respond consistently to challenging situations. Experience working with children, young people, behaviour, SEN, youth work, sports coaching, or care would be highly advantageous.
