Job Description

At Humble Grape, food and wine are designed to be shared. Our kitchens build menus around small plates, sharing plates, and dishes crafted to complement our wine list full of bold, food-friendly flavours that invite the table to order more, taste more, and linger longer.
Humble Grape is a growing and expanding group, currently 7 venues strong and actively searching for our next site. This is a great opportunity to join a business on the move, with real scope to grow alongside us.
We're looking for a hands-on, creative, and passionate Sous Chef to work alongside the head chef and grow and develop with us.

ABOUT YOU
Previous experience in a similar role, with the ability to manage wage costs, training and development, scheduling, and menu development

A genuine passion for small plates and sharing-style cooking, with dishes built to work alongside wine

A strong mindset around seasonality

An open mind willing to learn new techniques, develop your craft, and share your experience with the team

Hands-on and willing to help out across every section of the kitchen

Kind, compassionate, and a considerate communicator

A genuine desire to build a kitchen culture that supports employee wellbeing
