Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am - 4:30pm

Break: 30 minutes unpaid

Forklift Engineer Required - Northampton NN4

Quest Employment are urgently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Forklift Engineer to join a busy operation based in Northampton, NN4.

This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical experience who is looking for a long-term role, stable working hours and the chance to develop within a supportive working environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and servicing forklifts, ensuring equipment is kept safe, operational and ready for daily use.

The Role

As a Forklift Engineer, your duties may include:

Servicing, maintaining and repairing forklifts

Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out repairs

Completing basic electrical and mechanical checks where required

Ensuring forklifts are safe and operational

Carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance

Reporting faults, damage or safety concerns

Working both independently and as part of a team

Keeping accurate records of work completed

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area

Following all health and safety procedures at all times

What Were Looking For

We are looking for candidates who:

Have previous experience as a Forklift Engineer, Forklift Technician or Mechanical Engineer

Have experience repairing, servicing or maintaining forklifts

Have strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills

Are confident diagnosing and fixing faults

Can work independently and as part of a team

Are reliable, punctual and hardworking
