Forklift Engineer Required - Northampton NN4

Quest Employment are urgently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Forklift Engineer to join a busy operation based in Northampton, NN4.

This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical experience who is looking for a long-term role, stable working hours and the chance to develop within a supportive working environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and servicing forklifts, ensuring equipment is kept safe, operational and ready for daily use.

The Role

As a Forklift Engineer, your duties may include:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing forklifts
• Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out repairs
• Completing basic electrical and mechanical checks where required
• Ensuring forklifts are safe and operational
• Carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Reporting faults, damage or safety concerns
• Working both independently and as part of a team
• Keeping accurate records of work completed
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times

What Were Looking For

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have previous experience as a Forklift Engineer, Forklift Technician or Mechanical Engineer
• Have experience repairing, servicing or maintaining forklifts
• Have strong mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
• Are confident diagnosing and fixing faults
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Are reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Are looking for a long-term opportunity
