You will be involved in the selection, construction and scale-up of a state of the art manufacturing facility
Your experience will allow you to plan and deliver the technical aspects of the business plan, working directly with the CEO
The Candidate
You will have 5 years plus experience within fermentation and microbiology
Experience scaling up bioprocesses to large volumes (from 200 Litre bioreactor upwards)
You will hold a relevant Degree, MSc or PhD in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Food Technology or similar
Possess team leadership experience and a track record of managing scientists or technical R&D staff
You will hold a strong commercial understanding of scaling up and launching new products, ideally within the food industry, as well as exposure to setting up and supervising a manufacturing facility
The drive to work in a fast-paced start up, with motivation to grow the business and be a key part of its future success
A passion for food, in particular the plant-based industry and sustainability would be highly advantageous
