Where will you be working?

At M Group Energy, were enabling the energy essential to support our lives.

We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.

This role will be within our Transmission & Renewables team . We design, build and commission substations at voltages up to and including 400kV. Our teams construct and maintain transmission lines and substations, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of electricity.

What will you be doing?

We're looking for a Document Controller to support multiple projects across the National Grid substation portfolio with a key focus on our GGP (Great Grid Partnership) project.

As the Document Controller you will be an integral part of the team delivering projects from conceptual design through to commissioning and client handover.

We are highly experienced in designing, constructing and commissioning large scale, high voltage connections for our clients, to adoptable National Grid standards, and EHV transmission infrastructure.

This is a hybrid role to our Nottingham office. There may be some requirement to attend our Substation site in Rotherham so a full driving licence is required. Managing document configuration and change management processes to ensure the integrity of documents and information.

Maintaining a compliance calendar to track deadlines for document reviews, updates, and approvals.

Keeping a detailed document control register that accurately reflects the status of various documents and their versions.
