Financial Controller

Job Description

Your new company Your new company are a £25 million turnover manufacturing business with a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and operational excellence.

Due to international growth they're now looking to strengthen their finance function with an experienced yet progressive Financial Controller.

Your new role In your new role as Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in the financial leadership for the business.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and internal controls.

Working closely with operational teams across the business, you will provide commercial insight and strategic support to drive performance, efficiency, and sustainable growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to join a well established manufacturing organisation and make a significant impact in a dynamic, fast paced environment.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, with proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance position, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

You will possess strong technical accounting expertise, alongside experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and the development of robust financial controls.

The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, capable of partnering effectively with operational stakeholders to drive business performance, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Strong systems and Excel skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive, hands on approach to problem solving are essential, while experience of ERP systems, stock accounting, and manufacturing costings would be highly advantageous.
