What’s expected of you?
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with potential clients at DeterTech. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies to expand the company’s customer base and increase revenue.
Key duties include:
Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase sales and revenue.
Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients and key decision-makers.
Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop marketing materials and campaigns.
Attend conferences, trade shows, and other industry events to network and promote the company.
Develop proposals, presentations, and contracts for potential clients.
Track sales data and provide regular reports to senior management.
Work closely with the product development team to understand the company’s products and services and be able to provide feedback to help improve them.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.
Cold calls as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
Plan approaches and pitches.
Professional experience and qualifications:
3+ years of experience in business development.
Proven track record of developing and closing business deals.
Proven track record within B2B face-to-face sales.
