SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism) - Full-Time - ASAP Start

Location: Headington, Oxford - Specialist School

Salary: £95 - £105 per day

Job Type: Full-Time | Long-Term

Start Date: September 2026

Candidate Experience: Minimum 6 month experience working with children/young people.

Are you an aspiring SEN Teaching Assistant, Psychology graduate, Support Worker, or experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a specialist school?

We are currently recruiting a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a highly supportive specialist school in Headington, Oxford, from September.

This specialist school supports children and young people aged 8-19 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and severe learning difficulties, providing a structured, autism-specific environment where every pupil is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work alongside experienced teachers, therapists, and support staff to provide tailored learning and emotional support throughout the school day.

You'll be helping students to:

Access learning in the classroom.

Develop communication and social skills.

Build confidence and independence.

Reach their individual education and personal development goals.

You may also provide support with personal care where required, ensuring every student receives the highest standard of care and encouragement.
