Role – IT Service Desk Support
Salary – £27,000 - £30,000
Location – Edinburgh
Our client is looking to add to their IT service desk to be the first point of contact within the organisation, providing 1st and 2nd line support across a range of technologies including system software, PCs and laptops, peripheral accessories and applications. The role is based out of either the Edinburgh or Glasgow office.
Your day-to-day:
Manning the organisations IT service desk and delivering 1st and 2nd class support to members of the organisation.
Logging, investigating, troubleshooting and resolving calls that come through the service desk.
Setting up and managing user accounts.
Supporting the installation and management of remote homeworking installations.
Creating and maintaining documentation relating to the IT service desk.
Technology supported includes, but is not limited to, Dell and Microsoft devices, Windows 11, Office 365, multi-factor authentication administration, mobile devices and business specific software.
About you:
You’ll have a minimum of 12 months experience in an IT support of IT service desk role within a professional services environment.
Good all-round knowledge of IT software and hardware. Knowledge of audio/visual technologies is also desirable.
Able to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A proactive approach to troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
