About The Role

As a Business Administration Apprentice, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience supporting the transportation of international shipments and ensuring goods move efficiently through the import and export process. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll develop a strong understanding of logistics, customs compliance, administration, and customer service while building skills that will support a long-term career within the business.

You Will Learn How To

• Support international shipments, bookings and customs processes
• Communicate with customers, suppliers and colleagues by phone and email
• Prepare shipping documentation and maintain accurate records
• Track deliveries and provide shipment updates
• Use company systems to process orders and create shipping documents
• Work with warehouse, logistics and sales teams to deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues efficiently
• Following successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be opportunities to progress into roles within Logistics, Customs Compliance, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.

About The Apprenticeship

• Apprenticeship in Business Administration level 3
• Duration: typically 18 months
• Study and coursework completed during working hours
• Ongoing support from a training provider and your manager
• Opportunity to gain practical experience within an international business environment

What We're Looking For

• A genuine interest in business administration, logistics, or supply chain operations
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisation skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interpret and understand written information and procedures
• 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths
• No prior experience is required, just a positive attitude, willingness to learn and a commitment to developing new skills.
