Warehouse Team Supervisor

to join a successful distribution operation in the Plymouth area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Team Leader or experienced warehouse professional looking to take the next step into a leadership role. You will support the day-to-day warehouse operation, helping to ensure high standards of productivity, safety, service and team performance.

Key Duties

• Supervise and support a warehouse team to achieve daily operational targets.
• Allocate resources and workloads to maximise productivity and service levels.
• Monitor warehouse performance, KPIs and operational targets.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and performance.
• Promote a strong culture of health, safety, compliance and best practice.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing colleague development.
• Lead team briefings and ensure operational updates are communicated effectively.
• Investigate operational issues and assist with implementing corrective actions.
• Work closely with warehouse, transport and operational teams to maintain excellent service standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a
• Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Team Leader or similar role within a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams.
• Experience working with operational targets, KPIs and performance measures.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations and health and safety requirements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Well organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands.
• Positive and proactive approach to problem solving.
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience using warehouse management systems and operational reporting tools.
• Knowledge of warehouse audits, compliance procedures and continuous improvement processes.
• Experience supporting recruitment, training and performance management activities.
• Understanding of distribution, logistics or supply chain operations.

Working Hours

• 06:00-15:30.
• Weekends on a rota.
