Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join a well-established and highly regarded property team.

This role would suit someone with at least three years’ experience in a conveyancing assistant role who is confident supporting fee earners and managing key aspects of the conveyancing process. In particular, you will be comfortable handling sales enquiries and providing an efficient, professional service to clients and third parties.

Experience of new build conveyancing would be highly advantageous, although full training and support will be provided for the right candidate.

Working as part of a busy and supportive conveyancing team, your responsibilities will include:

Supporting Conveyancers and Fee Earners with a varied residential property caseload

Handling and responding to sales enquiries

Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, lenders and other third parties

Assisting with the progression of transactions from instruction through to completion

Preparing and managing correspondence and legal documentation

Requesting and reviewing relevant information and documentation

Maintaining accurate case management records and ensuring files are kept up to date

Providing a high level of client care throughout the conveyancing process

Assisting with new build transactions where required

To be considered, you will ideally have:

A minimum of three years’ experience as a Conveyancing Assistant or in a similar role

Previous experience within residential conveyancing

Confidence handling sales enquiries

Previous new build conveyancing experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as training will be provided.
