SALARY: £20.50 per Hour + Benefits

LOCATION: Saltburn-by-the-Sea, North Yorkshire

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Thursday 08:00–16:30, Friday 07:00–13:00. Flexible working can be applied to this role

JOB OVERVIEW

This is an excellent opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to take on varied, technically interesting work supporting the smooth transfer of jobs from Sales into Production.

The Manufacturing Engineer will prepare clear manufacturing packs, resolve drawing and specification issues, and create 2D drawings and 3D models while supporting offline programming where required.

With scope to influence estimating accuracy and manufacturing efficiency, the Manufacturing Engineer will play an important part in quality and on-time performance while continuing professional development.

DUTIES

Your duties as the Manufacturing Engineer include:

Contract and Planning Review: Review contracts in team meetings and capture information from sales estimates and production planning

Material Specification Checks: Check incoming materials against specification and resolve discrepancies

Drawing and Tolerance Review: Identify and resolve missing or conflicting dimensional and tolerance information

Manufacturing Documentation: Produce complete shop-floor manufacturing packs, including ballooned drawings and feature lists

CAD/CAM Support: Create 2D drawings and 3D models and support offline programming where required
