The Manufacturing Engineer will prepare clear manufacturing packs, resolve drawing and specification issues, and create 2D drawings and 3D models while supporting offline programming where required. DUTIES Your duties as the Manufacturing Engineer include: Contract and Planning Review: Review contracts in team meetings and capture information from sales estimates and production planning Material Specification Checks: Check incoming materials against specification and resolve discrepancies Drawing and Tolerance Review: Identify and resolve missing or conflicting dimensional and tolerance information Manufacturing Documentation: Produce complete shop-floor manufacturing packs, including ballooned drawings and feature lists CAD/CAM Support: Create 2D drawings and 3D models and support offline programming where required Continuous Improvement: Contribute to improving estimating accuracy and manufacturing efficiency CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS ESSENTIAL Previous experience programming and operating CNC machines Able to read and interpret engineering drawings Able to use CAD CAM software Strong attention to quality and accuracy DESIRABLE Experience setting and machining one-off fabrications, castings Skills in inspection and measurement BENEFITS Flexible working arrangements Continuous learning and professional development Subsidised canteen Health cash plan Life assurance Pension scheme Free on-site parking and cycle storage Social events, recognition schemes and long-service awards HOW TO APPLY To be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
