Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Executive Head Chef to create innovative and seasonal menus
Oversee kitchen operations during service to ensure efficiency and quality
Train, mentor, and motivate junior kitchen staff members
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness
Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation
Assist in the recruitment and on boarding of new kitchen team members
Uphold the restaurant's reputation for exceptional food quality and service
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef in fine dining establishments, Michelin-starred or Rosette restaurants, or private members clubs
Extensive knowledge of Italian and British cuisine
Creative flair and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are desirable
