Project Manager - Engineering Product Development - 212
Location: Hampshire
We're recruiting a Project Manager on behalf of an innovative UK engineering and technology organisation developing advanced subsea systems and solutions across the defence, energy, scientific and maritime sectors.
This is an internal engineering project management role focused on Research & Development (R&D), technical development and product innovation. Rather than managing customer delivery programmes, you'll lead internally funded engineering projects, supporting the development of new technologies from concept through design, development, verification and completion.
The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams including software, hardware, electro-mechanical design and New Product Introduction (NPI), providing the planning, structure and governance required to deliver complex technical projects successfully.
The Role
You'll be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering internal engineering development projects, ensuring technical objectives, budgets and delivery milestones are achieved.
Working across multiple engineering disciplines, you'll support projects throughout the product development lifecycle, managing schedules, resources, risks and stakeholder communication to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Lead internal research, technical development and product engineering projects from concept through to completion.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering milestones, activities, dependencies and resources.
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams across software, hardware, electro-mechanical design and New Product Introduction (NPI).
Work closely with engineering teams and technical specialists to define project requirements, deliverables and development activities
Monitor project progress against agreed timelines, budgets and technical objectives
