The Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant in Warrington, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils with their learning, development and day-to-day classroom needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing 1:1, small-group and general classroom support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
Supporting teachers with the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons
Helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and progress
Supporting positive behaviour and maintaining a calm classroom environment
Assisting with classroom routines, activities and learning resources
Building positive relationships with pupils and staff across the Warrington primary school

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

Experienced working within a primary school environment
A qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant (desirable)
Patient, adaptable and proactive
Confident supporting pupils across different year groups
Able to build positive relationships with children and staff
Understanding of safeguarding and the expectations of working within a Warrington primary school
