As the Test Development Engineer your role will involve the following important duties:
Facilitate design, development and support of test systems for power and magnetic products designed.
Organise and perform project work.
Design of in-house test equipment and ancillary departmental systems (hardware and software).
Primary Test Platform software development support.
Generate plans for new work and oversee technician work.
Provide technical support.
Maintain parametric data on test parameters.
Facilitate repair and calibration of Test systems.
The experience required…
As a successful Test Development Engineer , you will have the following:
Minimum 2-5 years experience in a power/electronics environment.
Educated to degree level in the Electronics field or time served as a Test Development Engineer.
Familiarity with principles of testing of power components (DC-DC Converters primarily).
Experience with NI TestStand and test fixture design.
Knowledge of C# or other .NET languages.
Automation Experience particularly in Manufacturing/Test Environment.
