Job Description:

Working for a well-organised and highly motivated Payments team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring payments are accurate and made on time.

You will provide support to individual clients as assigned by the Payments Manager, while developing and maintaining effective business relationships and consistently delivering an excellent level of customer service.

Responsibilities:

* Process employee and subcontractor payments accurately and efficiently, taking into account agreed payment dates and payment methods.

* Process statutory payments and manage pension auto-enrolment.

* Ensure accurate and timely calculations of payments to statutory bodies and third-party providers.

* Confidently handle and resolve payroll, administration and tax queries raised by employees and subcontractors.

* Assist with the submission of FPS to ensure compliance with RTI regulations.

* Support the processing of employee and subcontractor timesheets and manage client invoicing in line with agency agreements.

* Provide agencies with accurate, relevant and up-to-date information as required.

* Ensure the wider business is kept informed of any relevant information or issues relating to agency invoices and receipts, or employee and subcontractor payments.

* Complete ad hoc administrative tasks as required.

Skills and experience:

* Working in a payroll role.

* Prioritise and manage workload.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Strong attention to detail when entering data, producing reports and carrying out calculations.

* Excellent numerical skills.

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
