We are proud of our values ‘Dedication, Excellence, Trust, and Teamwork’ which guide how we work with customers and each other every day.Role PurposeThe Electrical Project Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and guiding the successful delivery of projects across Bender Ireland’s portfolio of healthcare and industrial solutions. Working closely with customers, contractors, consultants, engineers, and internal stakeholders, the role ensures projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, within scope, and within budget. The majority of projects are within the healthcare sector, where Bender supplies, commissions, and maintains UPS and Medical IT (IPS) systems. The role combines electrical knowledge with project coordination and customer engagement, ensuring projects are effectively managed from initial planning through to completion and handover. This role would be well suited to individuals with an electrical background who are looking to progress into project leadership, as well as those with existing supervisory or project management experience. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the day-to-day coordination and delivery of projects across the Bender Ireland region. Plan, organise, and prioritise project activities to ensure successful delivery against agreed timescales and objectives. Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular updates and managing expectations. Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure installation, commissioning, and project activities are delivered effectively. Support project budgeting, planning, and resource allocation to ensure projects remain on track commercially and operationally. Liaise with engineers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are clearly communicated and delivered. Attend site meetings and customer reviews, representing Bender professionally throughout project delivery. Produce and manage project documentation, including RAMS, schedules, reports, and technical records. Support the preparation and review of technical drawings, specifications, and project information. Identify, manage, and escalate project risks, issues, and changes where appropriate. Maintain accurate project records and reporting within CRM and business systems. Support the successful handover of completed projects, ensuring all documentation is provided and customer requirements have been met. Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards, and customer requirements. Contribute to improvements in project delivery processes, standards, and ways of working. BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong organisational, planning, and prioritisation ability. Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills. Experience working in an electrical, supervisory, foreman, senior electrician, or project-based environment. Full driving licence. CSR Card (or willingness to obtain). Desirable Experience in Electrical Project Management or Project Coordination. C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing (or equivalent). ECS Gold Card. Experience working within healthcare or critical electrical environments. Experience using CRM systems. DraftSight, AutoCAD, or similar drawing package experience. Knowledge of UPS systems, Medical IT (IPS) systems, or healthcare electrical infrastructure.
