Monday to Friday 6am to 8pm £12.82 per hour PAYE INC holiday pay.
Monday to Friday 8pm to 6am £17.50 per hour PAYE INC holiday pay
Saturday £17.50 per hour PAYE INC holiday pay
Sunday / BH £22.10 per hour PAYE INC holiday pay
Working Days and Hours: 22.5 hours per week (24/7) The successful candidate must be willing to work day & night shifts to meet the Trusts needs.

Summary
Through effective decontamination, the post holder will have responsibility for ensuring that ambulances, equipment and consumables are in a state of immediate readiness.
The post holder will prepare ambulances for operational duty to an agreed quality standard for the safety and wellbeing of Staff and Patients.
This will include cleaning, decontaminating, re- stocking, vehicle roadworthiness checks and safety/functional checks of onboard equipment (medical and non-medical). The
Duties
Contribute to ensuring the highest standards of environmental cleanliness within designated area of work
Contribute to the readiness of the NIAS fleet by ensuring vehicles are stocked, cleaned, in good state of repair and road worthy
Ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained both in the interior and exterior of vehicles in line with agreed standards
Ensure on-board equipment such as medical devices are clean, functioning and in good state of repair
Drive / move vehicles within and between stations to facilitate cleaning / decontamination
Undertake Vehicle Daily Inspection (VDI) checks on lights, wiper blades, fluid levels etc and report defects / organise repair where appropriate
Ensure clinical response bags are appropriately stocked to agreed levels
Liaise with Station Officer / Supervisor daily to ensure optimum service delivery
Ensure that cleaning equipment is clean, in good state of repair and stored correctly whilst not in use
Dispose of waste / sharps in accordance with NIAS policy and procedure. Replenish household / clinical waste as required
Identify areas where improvement is required and promote innovation where possible
To monitor / replenish supplies within each operational vehicle / stock room while ensuring stock rotation is in place
Ensure equipment is in good state of repair and report any defects / missing property
Essential Criteria
Currently hold a Category C1 driving licence
Have experience within a similar support services role.
Ability to use initiative, organise and prioritise own workload
Basic numeracy skills with ability to communicate clearly and follow instructions
Ability to remain calm with difficult situations in a professional manner
Understanding of the importance of confidentiality in the work place
Be flexible to work at other locations to meet operational demands
