The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Engineer to support the successful delivery of piling and ground engineering projects across the UK. The role will focus on planning, design coordination and project delivery, ensuring complex civil engineering works are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards of quality. You will play a key role in delivering innovative ground engineering solutions on major infrastructure and construction projects
Your duties and responsibilities will be
Lead and manage piling and ground engineering elements across planning, design coordination and construction phases.
Develop, review and manage project plans, specifications, construction drawings and delivery documentation.
Coordinate with project managers, design engineers, site teams and stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards and regulations.
Ensure engineering and construction activities align with industry standards and best practice.
Identify, manage and mitigate project risks throughout the lifecycle.
Coordinate internal teams and subcontractors to optimise resource planning and project performance.
Ensure works comply with contractual obligations, design requirements and project management plans.
Prepare and manage statements, risk assessments, ITPs, Work Package Plans and associated documentation.
Support project planning and scheduling, monitor progress and recommend corrective actions where required.
Promote strong Health, Safety and Environmental standards across all activities.
Maintain accurate project records, including as-built documentation, O&M manuals and handover information.
