Are you an experienced compliance professional looking for your next challenge? Morson Edge are recruiting for a Compliance Manager to join our client's team in Leeds.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in governance, compliance, risk and regulatory requirements who enjoys working with stakeholders to minimise risk and drive high standards across a business.

You'll play a key role in ensuring the organisation remains compliant with legal, regulatory and industry requirements, while also helping to develop robust policies, improve processes and embed best practice across the business.

The Role As Compliance Manager, you'll take ownership of a broad range of compliance and governance activities. You'll work closely with senior leaders and internal teams, acting as a subject matter expert and providing practical, business-focused advice.

The role combines day-to-day compliance management with the opportunity to lead projects and initiatives designed to strengthen systems, processes and overall business resilience.

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain policies, procedures and compliance frameworks in line with legislative and regulatory requirements.

Work with senior stakeholders to implement compliance initiatives and promote best practice.

Lead internal compliance audits, including areas such as Right to Work, agency labour, modern slavery, GDPR and ethical trading standards .

Coordinate external audits and ensure successful outcomes and ongoing compliance.

Act as a subject matter expert on compliance matters, including GDPR, Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), non-conformances and related training .

Lead activities relating to the Data Protection Act 2018, Data (Use and Access) legislation and ICO guidance .

Produce, analyse and report on compliance data, including diversity and workforce metrics.

Support the administration of ISO standards and requirements.
