Site Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to support a specialist precast project in Devon.

This is a hands-on, site-based contract role supporting the installation of precast panels and other structural precast elements.

You will be responsible for setting out, levels, alignment, tolerances and general site engineering duties, working closely with the Site Manager and wider site team.

  • Setting out for precast panels and structural precast elements
  • Checking levels, dimensions, alignment and tolerances
  • Supporting the site team during precast installation
  • Reading and interpreting engineering and precast drawings
  • Using AutoCAD on site where required
  • Carrying out general site engineering duties

What we are looking for

  • Strong setting-out and surveying experience
  • Confident using levels and surveying equipment
  • Own laptop suitable for site use
  • Full UK driving licence and vehicle
  • Based within reasonable commuting distance of Exeter / Devon
  • Experience with other precast elements such as walls, beams, columns, slabs or modular units will also be considered.

This is a long-term contract opportunity with approximately 1 year of work available.
