Bookkeeper

My client based in Crowthorne is recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join their friendly team, providing bookkeeping services, preparation of VAT returns, management account reporting and various other duties.
The main duties of the Bookkeeper will be:
Bookkeeping processing and analysis
Preparation and submission of VAT returns, to meet all compliance deadlines
Preparation of management data, whilst meeting client expectations
Payroll processing
General office duties, as required
Work is carried out both in the office and at client premises
Skills and experience required for the bookkeeper:
GCSEs in Maths and English (Level 5/Grade C or above)
Part-qualified AAT (level 2/3) is preferable but not essential
Minimum 3 years experience in bookkeeping or data processing
Knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, Sage is preferable
Sound knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office products
Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills (e.g., telephone, face-to-face and email)
Good attention to detail
Open to learning new systems and processes
Holds a current Driving licence

This is a lovely role paying up to £28,000 to £35,000 based on experience and is ideally a full time role working Monday to Friday 9-5 but would consider part time.
